And that looks like a house full of character, even if it is no longer pink. I remember being amazed to find popcorn was actually made from corn kernels (and embarrassingly, I was an adult when I found out.) It still strikes me as a minor miracle!

Pink houses can be found in Suffolk, but they are nothing like the one in your photos. I love the things that made the pink house special, popcorn and sleeping in the front windows – how lovely to have a park opposite! I love the description of your grandpa making popcorn, something I never had as a child. Thank you for the background notes and photographs.
