Grand Plan For A Fun Day At Sea
Is it truly a grand plan, or am I just playing in the sand
I started with a blank canvas and my ideas close at hand
I’m going to leave the shore and tumbleweeds behind
And set sail for the open sea, of this I am inclined
A rainstorm is visible to the north, so I will sail toward the south
Time for fresh-squeezed lime and tequila in my mouth
Have you ever seen the green flash of a sunset on the ocean
It will leave you tongue-tied and filled with grand emotion
I’ve often wondered how a sunset looks from the other side
Viewing it from under the sea is likely a much different ride
I head back to shore, a fun day at sea as promised
Grand plan or not, my mission was accomplished

You did, indeed, earn bonus points. My sister Suz would give you extra bonus points for working tequila into your verse.
I like this, ron, especially viewing a sunset from under the sea being a very different ride!
