Blue Suede People

People that wear blue suede shoes have a certain zest for life

When they dance it’s as if hot embers under their feet are rife

All while dodging tumbling sagebrush and avoiding daily strife

Adventurous too as they seek out a cave to hear the echo of a fife

With personalities that cut through boredom like a porcelain knife

These souls are the cream of the crop, the kind I adore, like my wife
