Fragmented Fragments

December air heavy with exasperation
escaping from a trapezoidal tomb
magenta granules ascend the sycamores
stationary peaks envious of moving clouds
salty rocks billow in the breeze
obtuse fragrance of curdled milk
texture of the effervescent swamp
what is this nonsense I spew
upon the fragments of time

Brilliant start, first two lines, sets the tone, very well done, really hard-hitting

Love this Ron. We are often led astray on common traits that can turn out to be interesting though.

  3. Ron, I can really relate to, “what is this nonsense I spew.” Maybe it isn’t as important to label it as it is to spew it? I like the image collage you put together.

    1. Hmm, perhaps the image I created should have been a horizontally sliced fragment stack instead of vertical fragments.

    1. I think we all are envious of things with abilities beyond our own. I know I am envious of the flight of birds and the swimming ability of dolphins.

  4. I am in the half-sleep insomniac bloom of zolpidem, but I like your work. I will return when I am once again razored out to write a ringing comment! ✌🏼❤️
