Smiling Sheep
High up the mountain
above the fray
where sheep are kings
and graciously smile for you
when taking a snappy
By car not a train
we traveled this day
as church bells ring
and Pyrenees in view
it’s a recipe for happy
Feeling no pain
just delightful play
we joyously sing
about the sky quite blue
it’s hard to feel crappy

This is absolutely delightful! And yes, I agree 🙂 it’s hard to feel crappy when the sky is blue. Thank you so much for writing to the prompt 💝💝
Cute, simply cute. A smiling poem well deserving of a read no matter the weather outside.
Great rhymes
Oh, I love a chuckle and sheep do it for us.
Lovely memory. Seems serene and pastoral. Thanks for sharing.
You know what? Since I came back to Cumbria, I’m really enjoying seeing sheep again. They’re like old friends. Definitely hard to feel crappy!
Sheep are very cute 🐑
Well written, Ron!

Haha! The sheep do look content, I will admit! Good fun there with words…
Sounds like a perfect place to be.
Couldn’t help but have a smile while reading this. Sheep are adorable!
You did very well with this one, Ron. Loved it.
Nice “recipe for happy.” 😀
Nice to read a bit of pure fun.
