Time Has No Concept of Time

Time has no beginning
Time has no end
Time is infinity

Humans have yesterday
Humans have tomorrow
Humans are finite

Time has no calendar
Time has no watch
Time marches on

Humans measure days
Humans celebrate years
Humans attempt to harness time

Time has no concept of itself
…or its effect on humans
Humans are slaves to time

  1. Ron you illustrate one of our central challenges very clearly here, the only escape from which is moments (usually brief!) of transcendence… And so we presson…

  2. We really are “slaves to time”. Made me wonder what life would be like if we didn’t measure it….hmm…sounds peaceful.

    1. Mankind has been counting moons and sunsets since learning to count. We would probably all go crazy without some measure.

  3. And sometimes those seconds that seem to last forever transform themselves into decades gone in a flash. Fine work, OtherRon.
